A charming vintage Persian Kalamkari, dating to the 1940-50’s. This little table runner was hand block printed on a heavy weight cotton with a wonderful paisley floral design with a border and twisted fringe. The ground is a just off-white tone and the pattern is in blue, red, and charcoal-brown tones. There is a stamp on one backside corner indicating the origins of this beautiful, decorative piece! This textile is ideal for a hanging, tabl...e runner, scarf, napkin, pillowcase etc! (TT22) MEASUREMENTS : This charming textile measures 16.25 inches by 50 inches.CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not laundered condition. This textile is musty and has probably never been washed! It can be washed on cold and hung to dry, however I've left it in as found, unwashed condition for collectors. There are some small pale marks that may not fully wash, and a small darker stain near the center. There is a small tear near the fringe on one end, and on one long side edge. There is some uneven fading of the dye. Generally beautiful condition! Unwashed condition reflected in the price.
