Chein Lunar Globe 1969 With vintage Rand Mcnally Moon Atlas And Apollo Patch.
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing !
This nine inch diameter globe with original white plastic base is in great condition. It was sold in 1969 and is screen printed with photographic images of the moon’s surface.The earth side is a composite of photographs taken from the U.S. orbiter Copernicus. Craters and other geological feature are labeled in green , impact and landing sites o...f spacecraft are labeled in orange .The globe’s condition is very good with no dents , and only one spot of wear at the very bottom that is pictured.Also included is a vintage, folded 1969 Rand McNally atlas of the moon .Finally, we will include a Apollo 11 patch which I don’t think is vintage.
