Extremely Rare 19th CenturyDual Stereo-Graphoscope with 46 Stereo Cards Very rare….astereo-graphoscope for two viewers! Holds 46 cards (included) in 23 clips controlled by aknob on side of box that flips the cards for viewing. Two cards are placed ineach clip, back to back, so that each viewer can see in stereo from eyepiecesat each end of box. Top of box is opened to give light for viewing. This was the iPad of the 1880’s. The device is made ofveneered wood which i...s in reasonably good condition for its age (seephotos). Measures 11.5 inches by 9.5inches by 13.5 inches and weighs about 8 pounds. Please notethat this item is also for sale in an antique mall in Forest Va. and, if sold there before a bid is received on eBay, this offer will be voided. On May-30-19 at 14:35:31 PDT, seller added the following information:Upon a recount, there are only 44 cards with this item, not 46 as originally stated. These cards cover a wide range of subjects and condition. Scenes are of natural wonders, landscapes, scenes of people doing things, cityscapes, etc. Conditions vary from quite clear to very blurry. All show some age but some look quite old. In short, the item being sold is the device, not the cards.
