NB:we are happy to accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or cash on collectionan extremely fine example of an art nouveau pewter biscuit barrel, measuring 6" diameter at the base & 6.75" high to the lid, produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William hair haselers of Birmingham for the liberty &am...p; co tudric pewter ware range, they also made the cymric range of art nouveau silver ware, fully marked to the base with the design number 059 dating to around 1902 and the tudric stamp. easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, in this case the inverted hearts / arrowheads to the body are typical of the designs of cfa voysey , the pewter is a gently polished condition, lifting the drop in lid reveals the interior which is clean and without corrosion so a really superb and impressive display piece, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
