Very fine solid sterling silver crown full size Gentleman's pocket watch in excellent condition & perfect working order dating 1933.Dial is mint, case & movement are both in superb condition with just a very minor edge nick of very little consequence to the case. The fully jewelled Swiss made movement is exceptionally clean & of particularly good quality as you would expect. Hallmarked for solid sterling silver on case, both covers, top loop & stem.Bears a full set of London assay mar...ks for 1933 & stamped with the case makers mark J.W.B.(Benson). Dial is signed with the Benson name.The silver case is made from particularly thick gauge metal & is one of the finest quality cases i have seen.Complete with original velvet & silk lined presentation case, bearing the makers name inside, leather case has very little wear, catch works perfectly & hinge is also perfect.Stunning watch in perfect working order & keeping very good time.Silver Benson's of this period & quality are very hard to find, much more so than the gold versions.Watch is wound & set with top crown.Size: 52mm diameter, 69mm including loop, 14mm thick, weighs 93.6 grams.Please see all 24 images.
