Hi, This movement came from a joblot at a local auction some years ago. Having no knowledge of mechanical watches, of any type, it sat in my cupboard until now. It is as detailed above, a J W Benson of 25 Old Bond Street London and is numbered 51666. The face is approximately 50mm diameter and I can see a small chip between 9 and 10 o'clock. The spring on the back looks "perfect" to me and when I twist the movement backwards and forwards, the watch gains about 5 seconds. It is old, is ...not perfect and therefore sold as spares or repair. Thanks for looking and good luck if it can be of use to you.
