Ultra Rare 18k Gold Dunhill Wind Cap Root briar. I have done significant research and can’t find anything. It’s very similar to the Dunhill world conference pipe from 1980 but that’s as close as I got. It could very well been unique as the original owner was INCREDIBLY wealthy. The pipe looks as though it was only smoked on special occasions and has no teeth marks, it’s so top heavy I can’t imagine anyone could smoke it comfortably. The cap and top are both hallmarked 18k and... quite heavy, my guess is around a half an ounce. Cap opens and closes tightly with a satisfying snap.truly the highlight of anyone’s pipe collection wether it a dunhill collector or otherwise. Please feel free to ask any questions.
