VICTORIAN GIRLS FEEDING BABY LAMB SHEEP ANTIQUE LITHOGRAPH ART PRINT 1877
Item History & Price
Gorgeous antique chromolithograph art print depicts a scene with two Victorian girls feeding their pet baby lamb wearing a red ribbon.
Lithograph is an actual plate from a scarce art book printed in 1877.The lithograph is in very good condition with really brilliant colors. The upper right hand corner has a partial dog ear fold which goes into the image about 1" but this is not creased and the emulsion is perfect so this will press out perfectly when framed.... There is a small fold on the older girls dress about from her left arm towards the smaller girl's hand. This only shows up close at an angle so this would not be detectable when framed. There is a tiny edge tear on the outer left hand border which goes near the image but not into it. The tear fits together well so this would not be detectable when framed. There are a few light smudges on the outer border but all are very light and minor. The lithograph measures 8 1/2" x 10 1/2" .
There is not anything printed on the reverse side and this lithograph would look wonderful framed.
The actual lithograph is much sharper than this scan depicts and looks more lovely in person.
