Youare bidding on a large museum quality bowl by the late Edwin and Mary Scheier. ...; DESCRIPTION: This flawlessly executed mid-Century bowlfrom the Scheiers has a deep interior that is decorated with a magnificent mattegolden yellow glaze that runs to sold gold around the rim. The bowlis further adorned with a classic artful Scheier depiction that includes sixprimitive faces. Four of them are paired face-to-face. The other two are embodied with straight legsand raised arms. Partsof the rim reveal a richly textured volcanic quality. The underside of the bowl has a nicelycontrasting glossy light purple glaze, Thisrare highly collectible bowl measures 11 1/2” in diameter and stands 1 3/8” highat the rim- and displays nicely large. It is pristine mint condition- no chips, cracks or repairs- and is signed on the bottom.
