I am a Nippon/Noritake collector. I am listing some of my very personal collections, since I'm running out of room to display all of my beautiful collections. I had decided to down-size a bit, this round I will be listing very rare & beautiful Vases, Urns, Plaque and even Coralene pieces I just do not have the proper space to display them all. Hopefully it will find a good home. This is the only reason I am selling some of my personal sets.
&...nbsp;Up for auction is a wonderful Nippon Coralene Vase. This Vase is richly enhanced with abundance of multicolored coralene beads featuring Large Roses with leaves in Art Nouveau over beautiful graduating colors from dark blue at the base and the middle to light blue, pink and gold at the top. All of the flowers and leaves are trimmed in gold. The base and neck are decorated with raised gold beads and gold designs. The workmanship is extraordinary, the colors are vivid. Please use the photos that I had taken for a better description.
The Vase is in an excellent condition, free of chips, cracks.hairlines, or restorations. Little loss to the gold and minimal loss to the coralene beads about 99% of the coralene beads is intact.
The vase measures 8 3/4" tall by 4 1/2" in diameter wide. The base is marked in red Nippon mark#242 U. S. Patent NBR. 912171. Feb.9.1909.
