1910s figural "Calendar Girl" Lady bottle opener with gas key (see below) advertising "SCHLITZ BEER WM. F. ALTMANN". (Both Sides Shown). Designed By Harry L. Vaughan, Design Patent No. 44, 226 (06/17/1913). JFO Style A-4-59. 2 3/4" Long. Very Good Condition. From the Collection of former JFO member, Don Whelan.
NOTE: Many older bottle openers have a small square hole called a "Prest-O-Lite Key". It was used to turn the valve on automobile gas hea...dlights from about 1910 through the early 1930's before electric headlights were widely used.
