A complex and fascinating group with enough charm for it's own cabinet. 8" tall by about 8" wide. The standing angel, who holds a mallet in one hand a file in the other, is looking down at a drawing being completed by the angel seated just below him. There really is a drawing on the pad. It must have been difficult to paint it there under his arm in the manufacturing/ firing /decorating process. This seated sketcher is the one with the only noticeable damage in the group it's wing is v...isible from the front. The other seated angel's wing tip damage is on the back side of the group. This is the one examining the plaster casting of an armless, headless, semi-legless, torso with male genetalia. The look on this one's face is priceless as he stares into the crotch. They must be training for jobs in the modelling room at the factory. Besides the blue crossed swords, there is a hand incised 4 and a tiny stamped 6. The grayish brown hand painted number is 67.
