Difficult to find c1931 Gruen Carre art deco watch meant to be used as a purse or pocket watch or a travel watch that stands on a desk or table. The hand-wound watch is not running.The case (metal unknown) is in good condition showing some age--a ding or two, a shallow indentation, some scratches. It could use a polishing. The release button and spring loading work. The dial is very good to excellent. The crystal is excellent. Closed, the case is 32mm by 30mm. Opened, it is 59mm wide. ...The cut-corner watch case is about 25mm by 25mm.
