EMPTY Lucky Strike Green Cigarette Package 40’s
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:18405132 | Brand: Lucky Strike |
Country/Region of Manufacture: United States |
This is was found in my passed away Dad's belongings. It was found among other WWII era stuff. It has to be from before 1941.
My research found that the pack color was changed from green to white in 1941 due to copper and chromium needs for the war and those elements were used to make the green and gold dye colors.
There is a blue paper stamp on the top with the initials "...ATC", which I believe stands for American Tobacco Co. Not sure why there is no blue tax stamp on the top.
This pack was made in Factory 30 in North Carolina. The package still has most of the original plastic on it along with the red pull strip (which is separated from the pack).
The package has some slight indentations on the sides but overall is in very good condition. (please examine photos carefully)
It will be shipped US continental only inside a carefully packed cardboard box.
Thanks for looking.
