I will be listing many pocket watch and wristwatch movements over the next few weeks. I have bought a few cabinets from a deceased horological estate and many of the drawers are full up with unusual movements, lots of American movements by Waltham and Elgin, 3 repeater pocket watches to be listed, many Longines and some verge and 18th/early 19th century movements so watch this space.
This auction is for a job lot of 8 x 28mm Longines trench watch or ladies watch movements all for re...pair purposes. All the winders are set at 3.00. All complete and most of them seem to be running to some extent.

A great restoration project for somebody or just for spare parts.
I have no doubt there are plenty of you out there that will no more about these movement than me and feel free to correct me if i have any facts wrong.
Listing all these movements is proving to be a learning curve, although i have quite a decent all round knowledge on watches.
You will be buying exactly what’s in the images. I have described this movement to the best of my ability but my knowledge is limited.
I have spent a a long time getting decent high spec images.
These images form an important and essential part of the description and should be studied carefully.
These kind of items are specialised and really only appeals to a certain kind of collector or professional and they should possess an in depth knowledge that is better suited to inform on price and rarity.
On that basis, everything from this estate will be listed with no reserve and a £1.00 start price.
