We are pleased to offer for your consideration absolutely gorgeousAntique Chinese Embroidered Deep Blue Silk Semi-Formal Luxury Robe Textile from the Late QING Dynasty outlined with amazing embroidered white silk borders created unique design with flying red-cap cranes, flying birds, butterflies, flowers and other Taoist Zen objects on front and back: around the neck, along the bottom and side slits and all around extremely large wide sleeves - ...bands cuffs. This type of sleeves is traditionally embroidered on the back half of the cuff band, when the rest being plain. (The Women tended to fold their arms in front at waist level with their hands through the sleeves, the embroidery showing down the front).The front fastening featured black silk buttons and long silk loops.The blue woven silk field is covered with traditional Chinese pattern depicting flying bats - Taoist Zen objectsThe lining features red patterned silk.Dated most likely back to the late Qing dynasty ....1st collage photo shows this robe from front and back sides.Dimensions approximately: 55" - sleeves end to end 43" - center back neckline to bottom11 1/2" - sleeve width5 1/2" - width of sleeve band22 1/2" - 23" - chest, side seam to side seamCondition report: AS PICTURED, The main blue silk with embroidered bands is free of damage, discoloration, odors or missing embroidery, all colors are vivd and bright.
