Great Footage in this 16mm Sound FilmCHINA TODAY(1970’s) Excellent ORIGINAL FOOTAGE The pictures speak for themselves...They are very accurate to the image as projected. Shows the Life in China at the turn of the last century, to what it became in the 1970s “Be strong gentle and understanding of others…As the water flows gentle, yet it can wear down the hardest of Rocks!!!!” Well as this 22 minute presentation shows, China has become a... power to reckon with, however it is really important to remember it was only 50 years ago it was still considered a “developing nation” The early part of the shows the great history. Including original footage of Mao, Chaing Kai Shek, Ho Chi Mighn, many others…The Great Wall and the agricultural way of life. Film also explores how many nations France Russia etc..carved away many territorial assets from the original land mass of CHINA…..Then the rest of this film show all the changes in goods and services and cultural changes especially in the role of woman… WONDERFUL BOOMING SOUNDTRACK The Music is wonderful; The story is one of ENLIGHTENMENT and Knowledge. The street scenes and the original footage of the invasion byJapan and other events is simply unbelievable!
