This is a lot of 3 U.S. Army CBI China photos depicting General Chiang Kai-shek visiting the Rear Echelon Headquarters in Kunming, China. General Chiang Kai-shek is photographed with Major General Claire L. Chennault (14th AF Flying Tigers), Major General Robert B. McClure, Major General Gilbert X. Cheves, and Brigadier General Henry A. Barber, Jr. Photos measure approx. 4" by 5" and have typed paper captions glued to the back. One of the photos is stamped with Press Censor approval an...d a Chinese stamp. Photos are in good condition considering age, use, and storage with some overall wear and yellowing of adhesive gluing caption paper to back. Comes in original paper envelope with extra paper captions.
