*** ***** ******************** ***** ****Up for sale here is a wonderful and graphic advertising pre pro beer tip tray from Syracuse, New York. This early tin litho tip tray is in excellent condition and near mint, as seen here. The front is bright and colorful, with the factory finish to it. There is some of the slightest age crazing upon very close ins...pection, but this is non detracting to the tray. No fading in the colors. The back is near perfect, with no surface rust. Please see the pictures, as they tell the best story. This example would date from around 1910, and was lithographed by the Chas W. Shonk Co. Chicago, Ill. 1907. I really love the detailed image of the bearded knight warrior, hoisting a hearty toast from his frothing stein on this tray. The graphics and colors are extremely well done. *It reads (advertises) on the tip tray ~ "BARTELLS LAGER, ALE & PORTER / (detailed image of the the warrior knight) / SYRACUSE, N.Y." This wonderful example measures 4 1/4 inches across. You will be extremely well pleased with such a nice and very scarce tip tray as this one, from the state of New York. *Please see the other nice pre prohibition brewery tip trays that I listed here.
