"1885 No. 1" by Whiting, 5 3/4" long with 1 3/4" wide bowl, Sterling all gold vermeil sauce ladle, no monogram, weighing 25.6 grams, circa 1885.
Whiting mark, Sterling mark.
Starting in excellent condition with few light use marks overall, pattern detail and gold vermeil are also excellent with no wear.
This gorgeous ladle is a fine example o...f seldom used and well cared for estate silver.
No removals and no damage issues.
I have ultrasonic cleaned and hand cleaned with Goddards silver polishing foam.
