CIRCA 1880THIS IS A GUARANTEED GENUINE ANTIQUE CAST IRON BRACKET LAMP COMPLETE WITH FONT, BURNER, CHIMNEY, AND MERCURY GLASS REFLECTOR. The bracket is marked "B&H, " which stands for Bradley and Hubbard, and bears a patent date in the 1880s. It is complete with the swing arm and wall mount, as well as cup, font, burner, chimney, and reflector. The cup mounts by a threaded peg. The font does not bear a manufacturer's name, but the collar has a patent date I believe in the 1870s (it is very small print). I do not think the gold paint is original, but it is quite old. The brass burner is marked, "VENUS, " a trade-name I do not remember having encountered before. However the thumb wheel is marked E. Miller. I cannot be positive, but I think the chimney is an original 19th Century one. The distance from the wall to the center of the cup is 10 inches and the diameter of the reflector is 7 inches. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere.If you are dissatisfied with this item, please contact me before you enter a complaint through eBay.
