D-DAY WWII HERO ROBERT C HESS OHIO FOOT LOCKER NAMED OFFICER ROTC HALL OF FAME. I searched his name and found out that he was on Omaha beach 75 years ago and fought in Europe until a sniper shot him in the last days of the war. Search online for yourself at CAPTAIN ROBERT C HESSHe was recently added to the list of ROTC HALL OF FAME. There is a bridge in Ohio named after him!His name is on three sides of the trunk. Tuscon AzDid my best to read the lid but it had light paint. Side and back lettering is easy to read his name but service number is not there, only on lid. I did not restore or alter this item, but I had to just clean the service number on lid to read all the numbers. Please see the pics. No lock or tray but overall in very good condition. Latches and hinges are snug and working properly. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class Package (2 to 3 business days).
