Injun Trouble is a 1969 animated cartoon short in the Merrie Melodies series, directed by Robert McKimson.[1]. The cartoon was released on September 20, 1969 and features Cool Cat.[2] It is noted for being the last cartoon in the original Merrie Melodies series, ending a run which had continued since 1931. Also, this was the 1, 000th cartoon short released by Warner Bros.
This cartoon was the last Merrie Melodies cartoon until 1979's The Fright Before Christmas, as well as the very ...last Warner Bros. cartoon produced until 1979. This cartoon was also the last Warner Bros. cartoon to be produced by Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Animation before the studio shut down in 1969 when Warner Bros.-Seven Arts was owned by Kinney National Company until Warner Bros. Animation reopened its animation department in 1980. The cartoon shares its name with an earlier short directed by Bob Clampett which featured Porky Pig.This film short is mounted on a 400' reel. This is an excellent condition print on IB TECHNICOLOR color film stock. This cartoon is complete from start to finish and fades out after the ending WB logo. LOWFADE – Mylar or Estar, AG2S, LPP, various Fuji stocks etc. Stocks that will not fade for a very long time! Premium! EXCELLENT-a color stock but shows no signs of discoloration, fading, shifting. VERY GOOD COLOR– has a slight shift, but retains most of its color. may have a slight redish/pinkish/brownish cast to it, but has strong color. GOOD COLOR – has a noticeable shift, but still maintains much of it’s color. Also knows as ‘Warm’ FAIR COLOR– has shifted substantially to Red/Pink but still has blues and greens in it. PINK/RED – Print has turned mainly to pink or red, there may be some greens and blues left, but little if any.
