Items will ship mid to late August.
New Intermediate Slats / Spokes for Carre type Chairs.
These are spring steel pieces to replace broken original.
Often when the main slat has broken, this one does too.
2 3/8" long x 1 5/16" wide with 3/16" hole (see pic).
Should fit the different styles of frames with 17 3/4" +/- inside diameter hoop (see pic)
Some spokes are held in with tubular rivets (see pic), which can be drilled out with 1/8" drill bit.
S...ome used hot rivets (see pic) which need to be center punched, then 1/8" bit, with some followed up with 3/16" bit.
I have also used hand grinder to grind rivets flush, then knock out.
This is the middle/intermediate slat on the seat bottom.
There is no middle slat on the seat back.
These need to be bent/arced before you put them in.
If you want, I can bend them before sending, just put a note in with your order.
If you look at the installed one in the picture, you will see it has two bends in it.
This has worked fine.
No guarantee or return if you do not like how it is bent.
You can always just rebend or adjust yourself.

A bit firmer than original.
If you replace some, the overall effect is a little firmer, but is not firmer where new slats are and softer where old ones are.
