Vintage Edward vom Hofe Model 481 Size 4/0 German Silver and Hard Rubber Reel is in excellent/uncleaned condition. The reel spool spins freely when the handle is turned and the click and free spool lever work fine. This is an early model Striped Bass and Tarpon Reel made before the reels were given a serial number. The 1883 patent date was for the sliding click on the back plate.
