Edward Vom Hofe  No. 4  split cane big game rod with nickle ferrules 88" OAL, rattan wrapped handle 16" long, upper section approx. 72" long, please refer to photos, rubbing on rod upper either do to being in an overhead rod rack or sliding around in some sort of carrying case. Please see photos.Handle shows some minor scuffing, due to age and usage. Missing 5 wraps where the rod rubbed as suggested. Five rubbed areas need to be addressed with new finish. Rod very straight. b...oth rod handle and upper length are signed Edw. Vom Hofe & Co. Makers, N.Y. on the butt cap at the end bottom is engraved a "W", perhaps an owners mark?
