<> NEAR PERFECT EARLY OLD EMBOSSING WITH VINTAGE RED FLASH REMOVABLE HARDWOOD HANDLE! <> 26"L single bit axe head with a 6 7/8"L head that has a 4 1/4"W blade + has a smaller size 2 1/4" square , marked in the embossing "BLACK RAVEN KELLY AXE MFG.CO. CHARLESTON W.VA.U.S.A." that is the much harder to find early circa.1915 embossing , before kelly bought the A...merican Fork + Hoe Co. <> In Fine eye popping stand-out condition , with dark black original finish background in the embossed square. <> Has no chips or cracks + the embossing is near perfect with 98% detail remaining. <> Has some edge + surface dings , scratches , minor edge mushrooming , + some very light pitting. <> The blade edge is in good shape with no chips or nicks + is somewhat sharp , just needs some honing. <> The axe eye is good with no denting or distortion. <> I love the shorter + thinner vintage handles on these single bit axes , so have included a vintage ash factory made hardwood handle mkd."Red Flash" , but have not set the wedge , just in case you wish to change it. <> PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO MAKE AN OFFER--YOUR INTEREST LEVEL IS KEY! +THEN YOU CAN CHECK OUT MY OTHER GREAT LISTED ITEMS. <> SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PHOTOS <>
