For sale is a collection of 6 items connected to the 1973 Inauguration of President Richard Nixon. 1) A Metropolitan D.C. flat Police Badge stating "Metropolitan Police, D.C. Inauguration of Richard M. Nixon, Spiro T. Agnew 1973." In the photos, the true color of this badge is the one that shows it from behind with the pin, being gold-colored. 2) Inaugural Ribbon/Medal/Pin. The top pin states, "Inaugural Committee, " the Medal states "Inauguration of the President and Vice-President, "... and the Ribbon states "1789-1973, 47th Inaugural, Richard M. Nixon, Spiro T. Agnew, January 20th, 1973." This piece belonged to a CO-Chairman of the Inaugural Committee. 3) A Jackknife, ivory-based and silver, that states on the outside, "Re-Elect President '72, " with images of Nixon, Agnew, and the Republican Elephant. 4) A green, blue, and white Pin that states "Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace, Yorba Linda, California." 5) A Circular red, white, and blue Pin that states "Richard Nixon Museum and Birthplace, Yorba Linda, California." 6) A Matchbook (used, none are present) with the Presidential Seal on the back, and "Inauguration 1973" on the front. All the items are in very good condition except for the matchbook, which is worn and used. The 3 main items in this lot are the Police Badge, the Ribbon/Medal, and the Jackknife.
