A cool little vintage compact stereo system with separate integrated amp, tuner, and cassette player. All are working well and sound great! A nice way to have an inexpensive silver-faced system — made in Japan — that doesn’t take up too much room. Also has a built in phono preamp so you can plug a turntable right in. Took some digging, but fou...nd out these were produced by Sanyo and sold at Sears in 1981. They retailed for $299, and as crazy as this inflation number sounds, that would be $850 in 2020. Asking $75. Are meant to run with 8 ohm speakers and I’m including a pair of homemade adapters (Rca to regular speaker wire) so you can plug into any speaker terminals. Had them hooked up to a pair of Bose 301s and it sounded great! I did notice some potential speed issues in the tape player, but all functions worked and it could just be my old tapes (that I never use), or all tapes could just sound like that lol. Some small nicks here and there and they are visible in the pics. Vintage items are never perfect! Heavy and solid, so no returns because of the shipping cost. Tried to price it right regardless!
