Pair (2) Antique Early 20thC Carved Wood Christian Priest Monks Reading Bookends ~ Oiginal Label
Up for bids is this Pair of 2 Antique Early 20thC Carved Wood Christian Priest Monks Reading Bookends,   Measuring 7 3/8" high x 4 1/2" x 4 3/8" bases.  These bookends depict two Monks/Preists dressed in long robes with a rope belt with a Christian cross dangling from one end.  The men have long beards and are holding a book in their hands with their heads bent down r...eading.
Nice grain to the wood of these carved figures.  On the underside of one is the origial labels that says, San Jose Costa Rico, Torneiria Electrica, Telefono 4052.
Condition is very, very good.  No chips, cracks or repairs.
