Click images to enlarge Description This is a relish or condiment bowl with matching under plate, decorated with the "Flying Swans" pattern. The set was manufactured by the Morimura Brothers of Nippon, in the early years of Noritake. There are two condition issues that will be described below. As a buyer it is your responsibility to read the full description and see all photos.
The bowl measures 4-7/16" in diameter across the top rim, and stands 2-1/8" high on three ball feet.
The under plate measures 5-1/2" in diameter.
The hand painted designs are in very good condition. The pink and blue enamel "jewels" around the rims are fully intact. There is wear to the gold on the raised beading.
The under plate has one chip to the back rim, and a spider hairline that shows only on the back side.
