This is a very old salt glazed blue/brown one gallery n crock. It may have had some type of blue print on the side but not sure it's so faded. It looks from its design to be a Strasburg crock from Virginia. This guess is based on the unique design of the rim and upper portion of the crock and the measurements and square rim. It was also found in Virginia. It has no cracks but does have a few nicks on rim from many yeas ago. This was purchased from an estate auction in Virginia ...that had many primitive items in the deceased persons collection. Please look at pictures carefully to see exactly what you are getting. 7.25" diameter at top and 8.5" tall. Thanks sold as is.
