Satanika Anime Pilot (VHS 1998) Created by Glenn Danzig - VERY RARE! HTF!! Condition is "Like New".
NOTE: “Satanika was an original character created by Danzig lead singer Glenn Danzig’s comic company Verotik Press. Verotik worked with Japanese adult manga artist Wingbird to create a number of Satanika manga for American publication, and in 1998Verotik worked with Madhouse Studios of Japan to produce a 3-minute-long music video pilot for a planned Satanika OAV series. Unfortunat...ely, Verotik Press encountered financial difficulties and closed, ending hopes that the planned full length Satanika anime would ever be produced. Central Park Media released the short Satanika pilot animation on VHS tape in 1998, along with “making of” footage and interviews with creator Glenn Danzig and the Madhouse Studios animation staff. This tape has been out of print in America for a number of years now.”
This thing is SO RARE, I couldn't even find it here on eBay and everywhere I looked online was either "Sold Out" or "Out of Print", etc.
I sell this more as a “Collector’s” novelty. It’s an extremely rare and Hard to Find VHS tape and as a collector myself, I like the idea of just showing this off on my shelf bragging about my Pop Culture coolness…Ha!It’s been in storage since the ‘90s completely rewound and in Great Shape! Box is almost pristine with just a few dings on edges from handling (Checkout images).I can’t guarantee how it plays because like I said – stored away since ‘90s, but it’s in “Like New” condition and should play fine. Still, it’s a novelty…a conversation piece for The Collector of all things Pop Culture that includes Rare VHS Tapes!
It will be bubble wrapped and between two corrugated cardboards within box, so...IT WILL ARRIVE SAFE!
