NOS 1941 Pontiac Hood ornament with the Lucite Chief and zinc diecast base. The as-cast studs are 100% intact. The above condition description is repeated below.
This IS an NOS part. But it is ~78 years old+/-!!!
The box has been opened and is tattered. The part is NOS and has the following age related issues: 1) There are some scattered plating blisters as is common on production GM plating from that era. They are at the intersection of the channel walls and the base.T...hey are fairly represented in the photos. 2) The studs are zinc coated and hence have some white oxide in a few spots. The Lucite ornament has no flaws that I can find.
It does fit other Pontiac years, BUT you will need to do your own research.
