RARE JVC XL-R10K Portable CD Player, 1986, with AC Power Supply - TESTED, WORKSThe XL-R10 is supposedly the first portable CD player released by JVC at the end of 1985. It is purported to be a technical clone of the better known Technics SL-XP7.Tested with headphones. All functions work fine. Volume control is a bit scratchy when rotated but not terrible. I did not want to risk opening the case in an attempt to clean the potentiometer.Includes the original AC Power Supply whi...ch is otherwise impossible to find. Also includes a mini-plug-to-RCA stereo cable. This appears to be the originally supplied line-out cable according to an unboxing photo I found on the web.The last two images are screen shots from JVC catalogs that I found in web searches.
