Original Description:
Up for auction is an antique signed Paul Louis Mergier(1891-1981)"Evolution" series stoneware pottery lamp. The lamp measures 21" to the top of the finial, the vase itself is 11.25" and the base is 4.25" in diameter. There was a hole drilled into the lower edge of the pottery where the cord would have been run through. This was changed at some point and was filled in. Signed under the base "Made in France" and "Evolution" with the triangular marks. The lamp has a double socket with pul...l chains and is working. Original braided cord and socket.
