VINTAGE GOOD 1950's GENTLEMAN'S SMITHS FOR J.W.BENSON ALL ENGLISH STAINLESS STEEL AND CHROME PLATED HAND WOUND FULL SIZED WRIST WATCH.
DIAL: Original 2 tone art-deco style dial with a mixture of Arabic numerals and arrow head batons, signed at 12 o'clock "J.W.Benson London"at base of dial signed "MADE IN ENGLAND"blued steel index hands(dial in good original condition with a few very minor marks consistent with age).
MOVEMENT: Gilt hand wound 12 ligne all English mechanical moveme...nt movement signed "J.W. Benson London 16 jewels" serial number C378331, in good working order although would benefit from a service.
CASE: Chrome plated case(a few wear marks to plating as visible in pictures)stainless steel screw on back, interior of case back signed "DENNISON AQUATITE MADE IN ENGLAND 147098"diameter of case excluding button 33.5 mm.
STRAP: Comes on a brand new Hirsch 18 mm brown leather strap with steel pin buckle.
