This is a small, smooth grain briar pipe made in Italy by Savinelli. The pipe is 5 3/4 inches long yet the bowl is only about 5/8s in diameter. It comes in a satin-like pouch with Savinelli and Italy on one side. It is made of briar. The bit has no bite marks and fits into an opaque holder.
When I opened the pouch, a ladies cigarette holder was also inside. This got me to wondering if this petite pipe might be designed for feminine use? It has no bite marks and onl...y slight charring around the bowl indicating it was not used very much.
It has the markings Savinelli on one side of the stem, and a logo plus 105 and Italy on the other side. Like all pipes I sell, this one has been reamed, cleaned and buffed.
