PAIR OF TRADITIONAL WAYANG GOLEK ROD PUPPETS - INDONESIAN RAMA & SITA. Excellent Condition GENUINE TRADITIONAL PAIR OF RAMA AND SITA (SINTA) WAYANG GOLEK ROD PUPPETS, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION These beautiful pair of puppets are hand carved and hand painted. Their clothes are also made by hand and each puppet comes with their own simple stand.Measures - 53cm tall ( approx ) Wayang is a generic term used for traditional theatre in Indonesia. Wayang Golek are wooden doll puppets that are op...erated from below by rods connected to the hands and a central control rod that runs through the body to the head. Rama and Sita are the main characters. Sita being the beautiful wife of Rama. In very good condition. These pair of puppets are truely a beautiful collective item.
