Original set of German WWII textbook generalpurpose field goggles as first issued to the DAK (Deutsche Afrikakorps) inits original case made from tan leatherette (Ersatz.Material) closed with “PRYM4” marked aluminium press button. Inside the top flap is a stamp for the lensshade (tint) with “umbral 55%” The goggles have a tan frame withexchangeable tinted glass lenses (made by the ZEISS company). Bothswivel lens holders work perfectly (see pictures).&nb...sp;The head bandstrap is still very elastic and adjustable. These goggles were issued toall desert troops including paratroopers as well as desert pilots (noteoriginal war sample pictures above). All over still an actually beautifulset (one of the nicest I ever had coming from my collection) and making anexcellent display on every German helmet or field hat, etc.-I send theitem via registered Airmail.
