Hello & Welcome! This listing is for Miss AbigailShe is completely hand crafted and is a "one of a kind" porcelain half doll pincushion, boudoir fashion doll, collectible doll.
Miss Abigail is 14.25 inches tall. My hand crafted petite ladies of fashion are designed and hand made by me.
They are made of the finest fabrics & porcelain and I put many, many hours of design work and labor into these unique "one of a kind" dolls.
Each doll is "one of one" and features m...y signature & the date she was created.
The dolls are all hand painted & hand crafted. The fabrics, Spanish Oils & china paints are all matched to meet my design specifications.
I work closely with my porcelain artist so that everything is painted to coordinate with my design specifications.
When necessary, as in the case of Miss Abigail I hand dye the fabrics, ribbons and trims to match the half doll I am working on.
Each doll is designed & made by me in my studio. Many take several weeks to complete.
Miss Abigail is one of the larger dolls that I make. She would make a perfect centerpiece for your table, buffet, dresser or fireplace mantle.
Her porcelain half doll body is made from the finest quality porcelain.
She has been hand painted a lovely Scotch green with an Ivory blouse that features gold highlights. At the center front of her blouse she has hand made and applied porcelain roses, rose buds and leaves.Her shallow basket which she holds in her hands is full of hand made porcelain roses. Making these tiny roses, rose buds and leaves from porcelain clay and applying them is a painstaking and time consuming job. My porcelain artist creates each rose by hand and then they are applied in the desired location and then fired into place. Then each one must be hand painted in the desired color.

Miss Abigail has auburn brown hair that has been swept up into a lovely beehive and she wears a green ribbon in her hair.
She has beautiful green eyes and absolutely stunning facial details and features. There are many stages of china painting and kiln firings just to achieve the porcelain half doll.
Not to mention all the hours of creating each tiny porcelain flower, attaching it in the greenware stage and firing & painting each one.
Then she moves on to the next stage. Designing and hand sewing a costume for her.
I never use commercial patterns.
Each doll's design is first drawn by hand and then I create pattern pieces from the drawing.
Miss Abigail is dressed in a full length Victorian/Renaissance style day dress. Her gown is made using Silk and a vintage imported French cotton blend fabric with a dainty print on an ivory background. Her dress is done in an "A" line design with a full flowing skirt. Her overdress is made using an imported lace tulle with an elegant embroidery stripe& a Victorian inspired Venice lace.Her dress features a lovely vintage embroidered rose trim in shades of ivory, rust & green.Her lace tulle overskirt has been embellished with hand dyed Silk Velvet ribbon and tiny hand made bows.
She wears a lace crinoline beneath her gown that is attached to her hand sculpted fabric body and base.
Her sculpted base is made from an imported French cotton fabric in soft buttercream color.It is finished off with scratch resistant pads to protect the fabric and has a weighted base.
Miss Abigail wears earrings made from applied porcelain & been painted in high quality gold.
Her bracelet & necklace is made from tiny micro Swarovski pearls.Miss Abigail wears a single Swarovski Peridot colored crystal on her left ring finger.
No detail is overlooked and nearly everything is hand sewn.
I use only the finest silks & fabrics when creating my petite ladies of fashion, nothing else will do.
I post many photos so you are able to see exactly what you are buying and you can see the detail that is put into these petite works of art and fashion.

~~All bead work is done by hand using only the finest glass seed beads and Swarovski Crystals

~~ No patterns are ever used ~ everything is designed and done by hand to compliment each finely crafted and hand painted porcelain half doll.

All domestic shipping is done through USPS Priority with Signature Tracking. This will require a signature upon delivery.
NOTE: If you require insurance on your parcel please inquire as I have NOT included this in the shipping charges. Please just message me with questions or concerns. I pack all my own shipments and I pack them well but I can not be responsible for how the postal system handles the parcel once it leaves my possession.
I ship world wide using eBay's Global Shipping program.
