Just in time for the holidays -- 17" multi-holiday brass wreath made by Petite Choses in the 1980s. In the Dresden style. Figures represent Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day and Easter. Each figure is securely soldered onto a wire... that is soldered to the brass ring frame. Although each wire could be bent to move the figures, I believe they are well positioned now, and very little of the wire frame shows. The large bow at the top is artfully arranged. Although many wreaths were made, no two were alike, in terms of figures and placement. There are various patinas on the figures. See photos for details. Dresden wreaths were originally made out of old candy molds or ornaments in Germany, beginning in the late 1800s. In a good used condition. Wreath can be left up and enjoyed all year!
