Offered for sale is this antique French large figural half doll bonbonniere candy container or boudoir box. It dates from the 1920's. It is from a non-smoking home and has no strange odors. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.
She is approximately 10 inches tall. The base is just over 7 inches wide.
It is in original as-found condition. There is some wear and age discoloration. There are some losses to her eye lashes and to the flowers on the front of her dress.... There is a rub to her nose, and there is a separation to the fabric at the back of her neck. Please see the close up pictures.
Stamped in red "MADE IN FRANCE" and an old Made In France label too as shown.
