Original Description:
WW2 US. Goggles, M-1943, Type III, unused in original package. Marked "U.S. 1943". It still has Left and Right protective paper lens covers inside and out. For protection against dust, wind, excessive light and glare, these were also used in Navy and Army Air Forces C-1 Survival Vests and survival kits. The leather is soft and the strap has maintained its elasticity. The strap clasp has some rust. The goggles are slightly stiff to open after being folded for 76 years, but they are stil...l usable and will display well, as seen in the pictures.
