We are offeringa painted tin pencil box dating to 1924. It is signed Henry Clive, who was an Australian born American graphic artist known forpublishing illustrations in the “American Weekly Magazine.” Thehinged box is a Beaute Box made by Canco. The originalowner, Cecil Mohler, scratched his name on the back of the box alongwith the date of Sept. 30, 1925. He did some other scratching hereand there as well including his address in Logansport, Indiana. Charlie looks great tho...ugh, without too many scratches. Inside are 4original marker pencils that we haven't seen before.
