Purchased: USED from an old friend & collector located in Canada who purchased it in the UK decades ago. Extremely rare very first edition mono copy UK edition of these excellent scintillating performances which feature wind masters Don Rendell & Ian Carr & keyboardist Michael Garrick who really excel & predominate the proceedings along with the solid rhythm section of Dave Green & Trevor Tomkins! Yet more always uncompromising experimental improvisational recordings by this/these fine jazz zone troopers. Once again this player/these players demonstrate a unique affinity and collective mindset for producing such telepathic improvisation. It doesn't always work well but when it does like here it's absolutely glorious! Worth the price of admission for those who are experimentally inclined and not uptight or inclined to become prejudicially divided (as all of us need to be unified worldwide to stave off the stifling New World Order and their tyrannical diabolical aspirations to enslave us all). Beware and please don't be too square! Yet another LP I hadn't ever anticipated parting with but sacrifices must be made to meet my financial obligations & it's only potentially listed for a few months & may be ended & MOST LIKELY NOT RELISTED if not sold! Nevertheless, I am grateful to still have plenty to offer in the way of collectible vinyl!!
Cover Condition: VG+ close to EX laminated front flip-back with slight rub-off on non-spine corners. Rear grades a solid EX+ remaining lily white with only a slight crease going across the end of Series but a more apparent crease on that same top left corner which is a little dog-eared. There's a 1 1/8 inch split in the laminate at the middle of the bottom edge as shown in photo #4. Still this is difficult to improve upon with no upgrade realistically required or desired assuming you can even procure another copy!Inner Sleeve: Original white paper which I augmented with a sheer plastic poly-bag protecting the choice vinyl. Record Condition: Looks nice VG+ on both sides with some significant light hairlines/sleeve-wear. If I recall correctly it plays EX throughout with no significant sonic discrepancies before a cleaning I'll be giving it very soon on a VPI HW-17 before recording it to a CD-r. This record hit the turntable very sparingly over approximately the 4 decades since I've owned it with it played no more than twice or thrice in WPB a few decades ago when I believe I recorded it to a cassette which I'll hunt down to report play-graded condition with. This is excellent music here featured in some intimate musical settings providing some cosmic sounds that can send one into the stratosphere if they're ready, willing and able! So now it's your move!Label Condition: A=VG with several wild spindle marks whereas B=VG- with numerous wild spindle marks.

MY PRESERVATION POLICY on many records that I revered was simple and I share it with you now so that you understand why you take virtually no risk buying from me providing the album was bought new and not used originally. When I'd buy a "new" album and it was something I liked a lot and still available (most of my new albums were purchased in the early-mid 1970's!) I'd initially play it between 15-25 times to become familiar with it and then sell it to a friend as a still EX+ well preserved nice copy. (Adding outer & inner plastic sleeves was standard procedure additionally limiting cover wear and/or hairline paper sleeve marks.) Then I'd buy another new copy and in some cases if a particular favorite then yet another, meaning that I only played the 2nd copy (now my 1st) 5-10 times and the 3rd (now my 2nd if I kept 2) once or twice, always initially taping or now in more recent years currently burning to disc 1 copy within the first couple of plays thus significantly limiting play to this day on most of my lps. I did/do this with many single copy rarities as well so most play was/is on tapes or cd-rs. I bought a lot of CDs of favorite things also which further helped preserve my vinyl and limit play of much of it. Sometimes I also acquired rare British and European vinyl which I never saw imported in stores and sold new in the United States or Canada from contacts I established through mail correspondence during the 1970's. I developed contacts in England, France, Germany, Holland & Norway. Be aware that the MAJORITY of albums or occasionally 45's that I list ARE FREQUENTLY my ONLY COPIES so bid accordingly as you'll not likely see most of them listed by me again.
