Here, for your consideration, is a Gates CB-500 Transcription turntable with the Gray 208 tone arm and GE VR-2 cartridge and stylus. Ive been using this turntable for years to play 16 transcriptions of old radio programs. I am ready to get out of the business, so this turntable is for sale. It runs fine on all speeds. It has been sitting up about 4 years not being used. The turntable also has the gates solid state preamp attached and is fully operational. PLEASE NOTE: What is NOT... included in this auction is the Harris/ Gates furniture its installed in. This cabinet was used in the broadcast station I got it from and was designed for this purpose. I will not ship this cabinet, its too much trouble. I would love for the winning bidder to have it, However, It means a trip to Fairhope, Alabama, or have some "you-ship" service pick it up.
