TODAY WE PRESENT FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:
Super rare factory conversion Reid rangefinder camera.....it was originally a Reid III type I camera with the 'Z' shutter speed and was later factory converted to the type II with added flash syncs as the type I had none......I looked around but couldn't find another factory conversion Reid!!!....the serial number is low at 1276....the shutter fires on 1000, 500, and 200, but ...is sticky slower than that.....the top plate has wear while the bottom plate only has a few marks.....the viewfinder is clear and the rangefinder works.....the leatherette is complete and tight.....the lens is the famous Taylor-Hobson Anastigmat 2 Inch f/2 lens with serial number 328436....the focus and aperture work perfect.....the glass is clear without fungus, haze, separation, or cleaning marks....comes with a Reid front lens cap(slight surface rust) as well as a ever ready case that is not marked
