There were 1, 962 households out of which 38.40% had children under the age of18 living with them, 57.20% were married couples living together, 7.30%had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.50% were non-families. 24.30% of all households were made up of individuals and8.60% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.69 and the average family size was 3.22.

In the county the population was spread out with 25.70% under the age of18, 8.50% from 18 to 24, 36.00% from 25 to 44, 22.10% from 45 to 64, and 7.80% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years.For every 100 females there were 158.80 males. For every 100 females age18 and over, there were 182.10 males.

The median income for a household in the county was $50, 540, and the median income for a family was $56, 112. Males had a median income of $44, 214versus $34, 634 for females.

WINNEMUCCAWinnemucca is the county seat of Humboldt County in the U.S. state of Nevada. It was the site of a September 19, 1900 bank robbery by the Wild Bunch. Atrue western town! Interstate 80 passes through the city, and is the site of a split/join of I-80 and U.S. Highway 95.
