I am 89 this is my own personal property, I want things to find good homesat 89 it is difficult for me to see everything small, My hope the images will speak for me - enjoyI believe the images will blow up if you move your curser over images - I did not want to handle - so I did Not get close up with my eyeballs
American Folk Art Sampler, antique fabric this antique Embroidered Sampler has a date looks like1837 possible 1887 American Folk Art Silk ...Sampler Flowers seems like someone small arms raised in a rocking chair then .... I think things looks like Lamb Sheep possible Mary Lambs a GIRL or Shepard with dog and a donkey also - Birds might be peacocks , beautiful Flower Border maybe Mourning, Palm Trees much to see here very imaginative mind. The sampler is in original condition, I've done nothing to it. This Sampler hand wrought but can't read everything and is dated I think 1837. It measures approximately 16” square and contains words along with a passage;Begins with when spring appears …… Around this the wide border of this antique Sampler are Flowers color may have faded over the years, but the other colors are still in pretty good condition. Also a some of the brown stitches on date & letters faint or are missing.
